The Razor’s Edge

“No man ever achieved worthwhile success who did not at one time or other find himself with at least one foot hanging well over the brink of failure.” Napoleon Hill

Man that’s a great quote!
It says it all.
How many times on the road to success have you felt that way?
Gotta keep your head clear and focused on the task at hand and the goal in sight at all times.
In the movie ‘The Razor’s Edge’ Bill Murray is searching for enlightenment, and when he finally gets his epiphany, he decides to leave the monastery.
The head monk in talking with him finds out his reason: “It’s easy to be a holy man on a mountain” says Murray, the holy man responds: “all else is the razors edge”.
It kind of feels that way on the entrepreneurial path sometimes.
Hell or high water I’m going to succeed in this business venture!
Then the universe tests you, throws things like money shortages at you, illness, family saying things like: “I told you so” and the list goes on…
It’s the same razor’s edge.
Are you going to fall off that vision, that dream of a better life, and fall back into that safe comfy drudgery called a J.O.B(Just Over Broke)?
That’s the balancing act on the razor’s edge, to keep laser focused on your goal of enlightenment, success, victory!
I think that’s true about most things in life is to keep a balance of the spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental.
Life is full of distractions, but if we can keep the faith, hold the vision, we might just arrive at the destination we are seeking.

To Your Ultimate Success, Jonathan
